Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW) in NY with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. With 11 years of experience in the field, I specialize and focus on providing long and short-term therapy to adults, adolescents and families struggling with anxiety disorders, major depression, trauma recovery, suicide crisis response, relationship difficulties, coping with illness, grief/loss and bereavement and overall life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered and strengths based with an emphasis on collaboration and empowerment. I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences freely. Drawing from evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques, I tailor treatment to meet each client's unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect me to meet them where they are in the present moment to help gain understanding of their need for therapy. I will create a safe space that will foster a productive therapeutic environment that can lead to creating goals towards developing and improving overall mental health hygiene.
