Great to meet you!

Our work together will feel honest and useful, with a plan that makes sense for your life and gives you a real path forward. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults from culturally diverse backgrounds, including veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I aim to tailor care for the person in front of me rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all plan.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, culturally responsive, and evidence-based. I take the time to understand, not only your symptoms, but also your stressors, history, relationships, and goals. Depending on your needs, treatment may include medication therapy, supportive therapy, and practical tools drawn from approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a thorough but relaxed conversation where I get to know what you’re struggling with, how long it has been affecting you, and what you hope will change. We’ll review your symptoms, mental health history, medical background, past treatment experiences, and any questions or concerns you have about medication or therapy. By the end, you’ll have a clearer understanding of my recommendations and the next steps we can take together.
