Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm Martine Jerome, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of diverse nursing experience. I work with adults and children of all ages navigating anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, substance use and addiction, sleep disorders, family issues, stress management, anger management, panic disorders, relationship issues, trauma, and PTSD.

My style is empowering, open-minded, and warm. I believe in meeting you where you are and working together to build a treatment plan that fits your life, your goals, and your values. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, managing a mood disorder, working through trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you find relief and move forward with more confidence and peace.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with honors at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in psychiatric care and mental health. My extensive training includes advanced psychiatric assessments, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based therapies, equipping me to provide compassionate and effective mental health care.

My approach to therapy

I use a combination of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build practical skills and create meaningful change. My care includes medication management, individual talk therapy, or a combination of both, tailored to your unique needs.

I focus on empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey. Together, we'll identify what's been weighing on you, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop strategies that help you manage symptoms, improve relationships, and build the life you want. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and always centered on what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping will change. I'll ask questions to understand your symptoms, your mental health history, your physical health, and any medications or treatments you've tried in the past.

You can expect a warm, open-minded conversation where you feel heard and understood. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling supported, hopeful, and clear about the path forward. Together, we'll create a plan that helps you feel better and live more fully.
