Great to meet you!

My genuine empathy for others and desire to help them provide an environment that promotes greater openness, safety and trust, something that is essential for healing, change and growth. My area of expertise of 17+ years in providing counseling services to families and couples including the following: coping with addiction, maternal mental health issues, life transition, depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, family problems, parenting difficulties, relationship issues and grief/loss.

My approach to therapy

I utilize the Wholistic Approach to practice.I believe that it is imperative to address treatment of a person as a whole, mind, body and social factors. I also utilized a Strength-Based approach to help people move toward their preferred life story. I also incorporate Mindfulness and Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite your story and CBT Cognitive Behavior Therapy to teach cognitive restructuring and ways to challenge cognitive distortions that lead to increase anxiety.

What you can expect from me

Our work together might be just as simple as finding a new perspective in life, exploration of a new interest or goal, skills building, conflict resolution or it might be a deeper self-exploration.

I listen and work collaboratively with you, tailoring our session to your unique needs.

I believe in helping people work on what’s important to them from a wholistic view and strengths based which would bring a more positive outcome.
