I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP). I received my post Masters and doctoral degree from Wilkes University and have been practicing for over 20 years. I provide outpatient psychiatric services/medication management. I offer psychiatric services to adults and adolescents with mental health issues. Services are office-based, and I also provide telehealth-based services to clients in remote locations.
I use a therapeutic approach to help those who struggle with shame and self-criticism and teach them to cultivate the skills of self-compassion and other-oriented compassion, which are thought to help regulate mood and lead to feelings of safety, self-acceptance, and comfort.
In our first visit, we'll start with brief introductions and an initial psychiatric evaluation, then dive into your specific challenges. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up evaluation.
