Great to meet you!

So glad you're here! Support is especially important in difficult moments. I admire your courage to reach out; it is not easy to connect with a stranger about your personal concerns. I have faith we all possess the inherent capability to be resilient, joyful, and reclaim our intrinsic sense of hope. With 30-years of extensive experience as a licensed mental health therapist, clinical supervisor, and previous administrator in community mental health, I prioritize building trust, partnership, open-mindedness, and acceptance. My goal is to help you find healing, balance, and peace on your journey of self-discovery.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is characterized by connection, empathy understanding, respect, and support without judgement. I provide holistic, person-centered, strength-based care integrated with an eclectic variety of evidence-based practices to teens, adults, elders couple, families, and LGBTQIA+. Together we build new skills and address unhelpful patterns to improve well-being, self-connection, and relationships with others. Surely, we'll add in some fun and humor too!

What you can expect from me

I offer a safe, warm, welcoming space to help you share your personal story. My intention is to see you, hear you, and value you, as a whole, worthy, empowered human being. I start with getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you want from it. Together we create a treatment plan based on your goals and current motivation. We'll focus initially on identifying and building on current strengths and resources. In session, we'll identify target areas for change, and I'll typically recommend things to try between sessions. I use techniques tailored to your goals, personality, and comfort level. It is my honor and privilege to walk alongside you as you uncover your unique path toward growth and healing.
