Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 20+ years of experience in the field and 10+ years working with individuals, children, and Veterans. I have gained experience working with issues such as stress management, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and life transitions, including Veterans transitioning to civilian life.

My approach to therapy

My practice is rooted in gaining an understanding of each client's unique history, strengths, and challenges. I emphasize a collaborative therapeutic relationship and use evidence-informed approaches- including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)- to support your goals, growth, and well-being. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can explore your experiences openly and safely. As an ally, I welcome individuals of all identities and backgrounds. You bring the expertise of your own story; I bring tools and strategies to help you create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll begin building a collaborative foundation by discussing what brought you to therapy, your expectations, and the goals you want to work toward. I'll start getting to know your strengths and needs while creating a safe, open, warm, and non-judgmental space. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin to shape a therapeutic plan that fits your values and priorities.
