Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervisor. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University, and a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College.

Since entering the helping profession in 2015, I have worked with individuals, families, and communities in a variety of clinical and leadership roles. In addition to providing therapy, I currently serves as an Assistant Director for a community behavioral health agency. My experience includes direct clinical work with individuals and families, as well as mentoring clinicians and supporting the delivery of high-quality client care.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, particularly those navigating trauma, substance use, life transitions, stress, anger, and relationship challenges. Whether you are working through a difficult season, recovering from past experiences, or striving for personal growth, I believe meaningful change is possible. My experience also includes supporting individuals and families impacted by involvement in the criminal justice system, allowing me to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care to clients from all walks of life.

What you can expect from me

Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and supportive, while also providing the accountability needed to create meaningful change. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood while being encouraged to explore challenges and move toward growth at a pace that feels both supportive and productive.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life.

My role is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to better understand your experiences, identify obstacles, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that fit your goals. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, balancing insight and reflection with practical tools to help you create meaningful and lasting change.

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences while giving you plenty of space to share at your own pace. We’ll also talk about what you hope will be different moving forward and begin identifying goals that are important to you. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood and hopeful about our future work together.
