Great to meet you!

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start therapy. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or talked down to. My role is to listen, help you make sense of what’s happening, and work with you to develop practical ways to move forward.

I use a straightforward, conversational approach to therapy. I work with adults and couples dealing with anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship concerns, communication challenges, life transitions, and the pressures that can come with trying to manage everything at once.

My approach combines therapy with real-life strategies. We may explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and patterns that may be affecting how you respond to situations. From there, we work toward greater self-awareness, emotional control, healthier communication, and more intentional choices.

One thing I want you to know about me is that I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. You get to make your own decisions. My job is to help you understand yourself better, consider different perspectives, and develop the tools to make those decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Therapy isn't about becoming someone you're not. It's about understanding who you are, recognizing what may no longer be working, and becoming more intentional about the person you want to be.

My approach to therapy

You may not be able to control everything that happens around you, but you can learn to control how you respond to it.

Therapy can provide a space to slow things down, understand what’s really happening, and develop a different way forward.

My approach to therapy is straightforward, conversational, and encouraging. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems. It should help you understand yourself, recognize patterns, build practical skills, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy.

We’ll talk about what you’re currently experiencing, what has been difficult, and what you would like to be different. I’ll ask questions about your current situation, relationships, stressors, emotions, and any patterns that may be affecting you. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session. You also don’t have to tell me your entire life story in one conversation. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on what is most important to you right now. My goal is for you to leave your first session with a better understanding of where we can begin and what working together can look like.
