Great to meet you!

Mary Ann Hunt-Sartori, LPC-Supervisor and School Counselor, holds a B.S. in Ed. from LSU and a M.S. in Counseling and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from SHSU-Huntsville. Her experiences include counseling couples and individuals who are struggling with relationships, depression, anxiety, anger, and codependency, teaching parents new/creative tools, providing clients interventions for ADHD/ODD management, and helping individuals gain insights into behaviors that impact their quality of life.

My approach to therapy

Ms Sartori has experience working with adult issues and difficult, out-of-control teens. With 27-years as a teacher/counselor for youths in Grades K–12, she helps clients work with schools to maximize student success. As a certified parenting instructor working with parents whose children are in the juvenile justice system and those who want to prevent an escalation in misbehavior, she teaches parents to use behavior contracts while improving the parent/child connection.

What you can expect from me

Mary Ann strives to be sure each client walks out of her office feeling more hopeful about the future. Clients often report the tools they learn are effective in enpowering them to take action toward improving their quality of daily living. It is important to Dr. Sartori that clients recognize there is not something wrong with them and that they can improve their lives if they have the correct tools and information.
