Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm glad you're here. Growing up in a small town I began working in my parents’ shop at a young age. In that time I learned the importance of respecting everyone equally. I was blessed to grow up with close support of extended family.

I have a Masters in Social Work and have worked the majority of my career helping adults with kidney disease and their families adapt to a life change they didn't expect. Earlier in my career I was a school social worker and helped children and military members adapt to living in a different environment and the changes that brought to their families.

My focus in therapy is to understand what brings the client to the starting point of our work together and to build hope, resilience and movement toward a better understanding of self.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is respectful, collaborative, and solution-focused. I work to build trust while partnering with clients to understand their challenges and develop practical, empathetic strategies for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, respectful conversation focused on getting to know them, understanding their concerns, and beginning to outline goals for therapy. Together, we’ll start developing a plan that supports meaningful progress.
