Great to meet you!

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for the past 17 years. I am credentialed in both Arizona and Texas. I have a positive, upbeat personality that provides clients with unconditional support.

My approach to therapy

I like to say I "meet clients where they are at." We will explore issues you believe are holding you back from meeting your goals in life. We can address change of life issues like grief, relationship, job loss or chronic illness. Past experience with LBGTQ+ population, chronic health concerns, substance abuse issues, anger management, domestic violence situations along with generalized feelings of anxiety, trauma and depression. Through the use of evidence based interventions (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and trauma informed care) we can confront the discomfort and fear of change.

What you can expect from me

My Clients feel free to express themselves in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment. It is a space free of bias and bigotry. Small, achievable goals are set for between sessions. These are discussed when we next meet to applaud your success. If goals are not met, we reassess to determine what might be holding you back or if the therapeutic goals need to be revised. This is quite common as you progress in therapy.
