Great to meet you!
Everyone faces challenges at times, and you don’t have to navigate them alone. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by stress, coping with trauma, navigating a major life transition, or facing relationship challenges, my goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful, lasting change.
I’m Mary Comperini, a licensed clinical psychologist in California and Wisconsin with more than 16 years of experience in California’s forensic and correctional mental health system. I have served in both clinical and executive leadership roles and understand the unique challenges faced by people working in high-stress environments.
I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology and a postdoctoral certificate in Forensic Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. I am board certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology and am proud to be the first correctional psychologist to earn this distinction.
