Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor for many years, I have repeatedly seen how a focus on mental health can transform a person's life. I have partnered with children, teens, and adults on their healing journey to resolve emotional issues and overcome life's challenges. If you or one of your loved ones is suffering, I believe there is hope for life to get better.

My approach to therapy

As a certified equus coach, a licensed counselor, and a play therapy practitioner, I have several approaches to use when working with clients. After an initial phone discussion to clarify an individual's needs and goals, we set up a time to meet either at my office or online. From there, the process of self discovery and healing begins...

What you can expect from me

My first goal for every person who enters counseling with me is that they feel heard and understood. For children, this validation takes place thru play therapy where children are given opportunity to develop self esteem, heal painful emotions, and regulate their behavior. For teens and grownups, we work together to discover undermining beliefs and thoughts contributing to their current situation. We then begin the process of healing these beliefs in hopes of creating a more satisfying life.
