Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared clinician dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional wellness and stability.

With over eight years of nursing and mental health experience across hospital, rehabilitation, long-term care, and psychiatric settings, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults and older adults. I treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, sleep disorders, cognitive decline, and substance use concerns.

My care philosophy is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I believe healing happens best when clients feel heard and involved in their treatment. I work closely with each client to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support emotional well-being, resilience, and long-term stability.

Whether you are navigating life transitions, mood changes, trauma, or ongoing mental health concerns, I am here to support you with understanding, clinical expertise, and genuine care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe that every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment journey. From our first meeting, I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns, goals, and life experiences.

I take a holistic and individualized approach to treatment, recognizing that mental health is influenced by emotional, physical, social, and cultural factors. I conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and work closely with each client to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle interventions. I emphasize shared decision-making, ensuring that clients understand their diagnoses, treatment options, and the benefits and risks of medications so they can make informed choices about their care.

My clinical style is warm, attentive, and solution-focused. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and believe trust and consistency are essential for meaningful progress. I provide ongoing support, monitor treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as needed to help clients achieve stability and improved quality of life.

My goal is to empower clients with the tools, insight, and support needed to achieve emotional wellness, resilience, and long-term mental health stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can openly share your concerns and begin your path toward improved mental wellness. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very beginning.

During this initial visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This includes discussing your current concerns, emotional and mental health history, medical background, medications, lifestyle factors, stressors, and personal goals for treatment. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences at your own pace, and I will listen with empathy and without judgment. The goal of this session is to gain a clear understanding of your needs and what matters most to you.

Together, we will begin identifying treatment goals tailored specifically to your situation. These may include improving mood stability, reducing anxiety, enhancing sleep, strengthening coping skills, managing stress, improving focus, or addressing substance use or trauma-related concerns. We will also discuss potential treatment options, including medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical strategies to support your emotional well-being.

You can expect a collaborative approach where your voice and preferences are valued. I will explain any diagnoses, recommendations, and next steps clearly, so you feel informed and empowered. By the end of the first session, clients typically leave with a better understanding of their mental health needs, an initial treatment plan, and a sense of direction and hope for improvement.

My goal is to create a calm, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment where you feel safe to begin your healing journey and confident that you have a supportive partner in your mental health care.
