Great to meet you!

Hello! A Little About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, find meaningful solutions, and move forward with confidence. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting, educating, and advocating for others across a variety of settings.

I have worked with children, adults, families, older adults, and medically complex individuals, supporting them through a wide range of emotional, medical, and life challenges. I have a special interest in working with individuals adjusting to new-onset disabilities resulting from concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other neurologically challenging circumstances. I understand that these experiences can bring significant physical, emotional, and personal changes, and I am committed to helping clients navigate this journey with compassion and support. I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate the unique mental and emotional challenges that can come with becoming an adult, facing uncertainty about the future, managing life transitions, and discovering their own path.

I look forward to meeting you and learning more about your story. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we may be a good fit

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive, and person-centered. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying the support that may be most helpful for you. Most importantly, this initial session is about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood.

During your first session, you can expect:

*A discussion about the current challenges or concerns that led you to seek therapy

*A review of your relevant medical and mental health history, if applicable

*An opportunity to explore what you hope to gain from therapy and identify your goals for treatment

There is no pressure to share everything during your first session. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
