Great to meet you!

I'm Kat! I am a licensed professional counselor who has been practicing for a little over three years, having obtained my full licensure in April 2026. My practice focuses heavily on trauma and PTSD but I also support individuals with depression, anxiety, and relational concerns. I'm passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help my clients navigate their mental health journeys.

My approach to therapy

One of my main priorities in our counseling work is the therapeutic relationship. That means I am constantly oriented towards supporting you in feeling seen, understood, and accepted (even in the challenging moments). As a person-centered therapist, I tailor my focus, theoretical approach, and interventions to each individual client.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll start by gathering the relevant background information: What brings you in to meet with me? What are some of the things that make you who you are? Our work together will be collaborative from the get-go, so know that we get to move at your pace. My first, most important job in that intake appointment together is to make sure that you feel comfortable.
