Great to meet you!

I specialize in attachment and complex trauma and employ a multi-modal approach incorporating client centered, trauma informed, culturally sensitive creative arts therapy interventions. I have over 25 years’ experience working with children and families in music and expressive arts modalities. I received my MA in Music Therapy from New York University and hold advanced trainings in Neurological Music Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Ways of Seeing Dance Movement Psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is highly improvisational, individualized and holistic. Using art, music, movement, and creative writing I join clients in playful creative arts therapy interventions which resonate, celebrate, and validate your authentic cadence. My co-creative process will invite you to explore, express, process and engage in dialogue with your true self and reclaim your authentic flow. To learn more about my style & clinical practice please feel free to visit my website at creativecascadence.com.

What you can expect from me

I love finding creative ways to help you best express yourself, and be the best version of you. I create a comfortable, fun, and trusting space where you can open up in any way that best suits you. My work is centered around Viola Spolin’s improvisational tenant of “Yes, And!”; acknowledging your state of being moment to moment while focusing on expanding and enhancing your authentic self in the music and beyond. I look forward to sharing space and sound with you sometime soon!
