Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Mary Harris, LPC-S. I work with people who are dealing with depression, chronic illness, grief & loss, life transitions, and LGBTQ-related issues. I received my M.Ed in Counseling from the University of North Texas in 2008, and a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Arizona State University in 2019. I live in North Texas with my daughter, my spouse, and two adorable parakeets.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My clients find me to be calm, caring, and nonjudgmental. My style is collaborative - we'll work together to identify the issues that are most important to you and the kinds of changes you want to make.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session, I will introduce myself and ask questions about you, your life, and what brought you to take that all-important first step, so that we can get to know each other and figure out if I am the right counselor for you.
