Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, past experiences, or your relationship with food, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to manage it on your own.

I’m a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of healthcare experience. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and eating-related patterns such as emotional eating, restriction, or feeling out of control around food.

I also bring personal insight into this work, which allows me to approach care with a deeper level of understanding and compassion while maintaining a thoughtful, clinical approach to treatment.

I work with individuals who are dealing with ongoing anxiety, stress, or challenges with mood or eating patterns that are starting to impact their daily life.

My goal is to provide individualized psychiatric care where you feel supported, understood, and have a clear, realistic plan to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in trauma-informed care.

I focus on understanding the full picture—your symptoms, your history, and how anxiety, stress, or past experiences may be affecting your daily life, including your relationship with food and overall well-being.

As a psychiatric provider, I provide individualized medication management when appropriate, along with education and supportive guidance to help you feel more stable, clear, and in control.

My goal is to create a treatment plan that is effective, realistic, and aligned with your needs—so you can start to see meaningful improvement in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll take time to understand the full picture of what’s been going on for you.

We’ll talk through your current symptoms—such as anxiety, mood changes, or challenges with eating patterns—as well as your history, stressors, and what you’ve already tried.

You can expect a structured but relaxed conversation where you won’t feel rushed or judged. My goal is to understand how your symptoms are showing up in your daily life so we can create a clear, personalized plan.

By the end of the session, we will:

• Identify key concerns and patterns

• Discuss whether medication may be helpful

• Review treatment options and next steps

• Create a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your goals

This is a collaborative process, and you’ll have space to ask questions and feel confident in the direction we’re taking.
