Great to meet you!

As a seasoned therapist I take my job seriously by combining experience, a genuine desire to facilitate change, respect for each client's life journey and a promise to do all I can with my clients to make sessions helpful. Working with women, couples experiencing relational challenges and helping clients manage depression and anxiety seem to pull at my heart strings. I hope my clients will see by my work ethic, attitude and behavior that I love my job!

My approach to therapy

It is extremely important to involve clients in every phase of therapy - telling his/her story, completing the treatment plan, assessing progress - leading to identification and implementation of treatment interventions designed especially for them. Using a strengths-based approach in addition to solution-focused/problem-solving and faith belief strategies are important to the way I conceptualize my work with clients.

What you can expect from me

My initial sessions with clients include time for introductions and expectations (client's and therapist's). Before the session terminates, the client will be able to talk about the concerns bringing them to therapy and discuss questions about the counseling process.
