Great to meet you!

HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN THE STRONG ONE AND FEEL THE PRESSURE TO KEEP SMILING WHEN THINGS ARE AWFUL? DO YOU CHOOSE TO STRUGGLE IN SILENCE BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE THAT TALKING ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS IS A BURDEN TO OTHERS? ARE YOU TIRED OF THE SAME UNCOMFORTABLE OR EXCRUCIATING PATTERNS REPLAYING IN YOUR LIFE, CAUSING DISRUPTION IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS? Do you love too hard? Unsure of where you belong; emotionally, culturally, racially, sexually? Are you experiencing betrayal? Feeling embarrassed. Stuck? As a 1st generation FIlipinx American with lived experience in multicultural relationships in Western society, I can help. Experience matters.

My approach to therapy

Virtual (in-person by appointment and hybrid with virtual).

I personalize treatment for each individual's needs. My clients are the expert of their life experience, I just hold space to talk about it. It's nice being able to talk about aches, pains, hopes and dreams with someone who has been doing this work for almost 20 years.

I am a Certified EMDR therapist. Sessions with me can be a safe place and a sanctuary to process heartache. I will both validate your strength and challenge you to do better at your own pace. I serve youth, adults and families of all ethnic, religious and sexual identities. I specialize in Filipinx, Asian, Pacific Islander and American cultures. I often help folx explore multicultural relationships and identity, and intergenerational family issues, and trauma.

What you can expect from me

Working with me therapeutically can result in both a remembering of who you are (the self), clarifying goals/dreams/purpose, and hope.

You don’t have to endure this alone. People don't reach out for therapy unless things are terrible. It doesn't have to be that way- Together, we can unearth your unsung story to envision a new and more fulfilling chapter. I will provide you a safe, non-judgemental healing space to explore, process, laugh, and cry. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation.
