Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Mary Kay Irving, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience providing therapy for men and women. I'm passionate about helping people move through and beyond their traumas, self defeating beliefs and habits to create the life and relationships they really want and deserve.

My approach to therapy

My expertise is in supporting clients dealing with high stress and emotion regulation that often comes with trauma reactions, PTSD, depression, anxiety and substance abuse.

I specialize in evidence based therapies including DBT, EMDR and mindfulness based practices. I have specialized training in and a passion for providing holistic and integrative lifestyle support.

In addition to my Bachelor's and Master's degrees I hold certifications in nutrition and lifestyle coaching to support mood, brain, sleep and anxiety. I am also trained as a non-prescriber offering clinical support for ketogenic metabolic therapy.

My approach is warm, client-centered, empowering and collaborative. We work together to make your life better.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting we'll get to know one another. You can ask me questions but mostly I'll be listing to you and what's been going on without judgment. I'll ask questions about your life, what's troubling you, where you've come from and what you want to create for your future. Together, we'll create a plan to get you to where you want to be.
