Kristin Lennox

Much of my work centers the experience of the Global Majority (or BIPOC communities), especially Asian American and Filipino American folks, immigrant and diaspora communities. I work well with those who have had to grow up too quickly, like eldest siblings or daughters... the kinds of people who've spent a lifetime holding things together for everyone else. I also have experience working with clients navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and grief and loss. Whatever brought you here, I want this to be a space where you don't have to over explain yourself or your story.

My approach is trauma-informed and healing-centered, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and psychodynamic work. Because of my own background, my work is filtered through a decolonized lens because I understand that healing shouldn't require you to abandon your culture, your family, or the ways you've learned to survive.

I'm told my approach feels less like a clinical appointment and more like a conversation with a friend who happens to have the training to help you make sense of things. If you're looking for someone who will hold space for you AND tell you the truth - all with a healthy dose of compassion and good humor - then you're in the right place. Onward!
