Great to meet you!

Mary-Lauren is an expert in helping people-pleasers, over-thinkers, trauma survivors, and the chronically stressed feel calmer and more in control of their thoughts and emotions. Whether you’re the person who feels panicky and restless, who can’t seem to stop worrying, or who puts everyone else’s needs before their own, Mary-Lauren wants to help you get relief so that you can start enjoying life again.

My approach to therapy

Mary-Lauren will help you understand what has been keeping you stuck by looking at things like past trauma, relationship patterns, work/life balance, health and nutrition, and how you cope with stress. You’ll learn how to manage your triggers, set boundaries and say “no” without guilt, and feel calmer in your body.

What you can expect from me

Mary-Lauren would love to meet you and see if this feels like the right fit. She’ll start by helping you understand why you’ve been feeling the way that you’ve been feeling. Then, she’ll help you make a game-plan with real tools to make changes in your day-to-day life. Therapy is a little like working with a personal trainer- to get the best results and feel like the best version of yourself, you need to know what exercises to practice. She wants you to come as you are, vent about whatever you’re feeling, and leave with strategies to actually get relief.
