Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting adults and families through life transitions, aging, caregiving, and other complex life challenges. I have a particular interest in working with individuals navigating midlife and later adulthood, as well as caregivers who may be balancing the emotional and practical demands of caring for someone they love.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea, and I am currently a Doctor of Social Work candidate at Walden University. As a bilingual Korean-English therapist, I am also deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care to Korean-American and other multicultural clients.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, person-centered, and meaning-focused. I believe therapy is not simply about fixing what feels wrong, but about helping you better understand yourself, recognize the strengths you already carry, and find meaningful ways to move forward.

I integrate practical strategies with strength-based, solution-focused, and culturally sensitive approaches based on your individual needs. When life feels uncertain or beyond your control, we can work together to build resilience, explore what matters most to you, and find ways to navigate difficult circumstances with greater clarity and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to learn about you, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope might be different in your life. We will talk about your current concerns, important experiences and relationships, your strengths, and the circumstances that may be affecting your well-being. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying what feels most important to you and discuss how therapy can best support your needs and goals.
