Great to meet you!

As a neurodivergent person who spent years trying to be "perfect" and "small" and make everything, including myself, "OK", I know first-hand that healing isn't linear or tidy; it’s often messy and uncertain.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16+ years of diverse experience in mental health working with adults, children and families. I think being a human is hard, but finding a place to feel safe to unpack it all shouldn’t also be hard.

My approach to therapy

Most importantly, I meet YOU where you're at. Whether you are struggling to find emotional safety or seeking to build self-trust in dark, uncertain times, I don’t aim to "fix" you—instead, I want to help you uncover the light, wisdom, and strength you already carry. Because trauma is often stored in the body, we go beyond just talking. We’ll use body-based awareness to help you navigate your sensitive nervous system and feel those big feelings in real time. We’ll use psychodynamic insights to explore how past experiences and early relationships might be influencing your present feelings, and work together to manage the heavy symptoms of trauma by building practical coping skills and gently reshaping the unhelpful thought patterns that often follow difficult experiences.

What you can expect from me

It is really important to me that you make an informed decision about your mental health. So much in our world right now feels out of control, but this decision shouldn't. This is why in our first session you can expect that we will have a dialogue about what you're looking for and if I am the right person to help you. The most reliable predictor of good outcomes in therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist, so let's make sure you're making the best choice for YOU. I believe it is it is totally possible to build resilience and develop confidence in your innate ability to heal and thrive, even if it currently feels impossible. I'd love to hold the light for you.
