Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 30 years of experience in addiction and mental health, including clinical and leadership roles in treatment settings. Today, I work with adults navigating addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, stress, career challenges, and major life transitions. Clients often seek me out for my objectivity, authenticity, and ability to help them tackle difficult things they may not believe they can change. I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, valued, and free from judgment. For more information about my practice and approach, I invite you to visit my website: westlakevillage-therapist.com.

My approach to therapy

The reasons people seek therapy are as varied as the individuals themselves. I take an integrative, collaborative approach that allows us to look at what is happening in your life, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and identify what needs to change. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, or a difficult life transition, my goal is to help you understand yourself more clearly and find a way forward that feels meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to hear your story, understand what brought you to therapy, and learn what you hope to accomplish. We’ll begin identifying the concerns or patterns that may be getting in your way and consider where you would like things to change. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to determine what will be most helpful for you.
