Great to meet you!

I've seen firsthand how much of a difference it makes to have someone in your corner, and that's exactly what I want to be for you. I bring a calm, grounded presence to every session, and I believe care works best when it's a two-way street. Your input, your goals, and your comfort matter just as much as my expertise.

I also know what it feels like to go through hard things. Years ago, I went through a divorce and found myself raising my kids alone, navigating the stress of doing it all and a difficult legal process with a narcissistic ex. That experience shaped me deeply. If you're in the middle of something like that right now, trying to hold everything together, fighting battles in the court system, and feeling completely depleted, I want you to know I understand it from the inside, not just from a textbook.

Outside of work, you'll find me traveling, spending time with my grandkids and family, reading, and enjoying the beach. I'm a real person, and I want you to feel that from day one.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and I approach each person with the same core values: good listening, genuine support, and zero judgment. Many of my clients come to me feeling like they've lost everything, that they have no support system, or that they simply can't do this alone. I hear that, and I want you to know that's exactly why I'm here. My style is collaborative and non-directive. I won't tell you what to do; I'll work alongside you to figure out what fits your life. Building real rapport is foundational to the work we do together, and I take that seriously.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. I'll listen, really listen, to understand where you are and what's brought you here. There's no agenda to rush through and no judgment waiting on the other side. This is a safe, confidential space, and I want you to leave that first appointment feeling heard, not overwhelmed. We'll talk about what you're experiencing, what support has looked like (or hasn't looked like) in your life, and what you're hoping to get out of care. From there, we build a plan together, because your buy-in is what makes this work.
