Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Mental Health Clinician, and Life Coach with over 25 years of experience providing inpatient and outpatient mental health therapy, as well as more than 30 years of working alongside individuals to help them create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University, a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia, and I am an active member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.

I believe that the most powerful change happens when clients feel safe, accepted, and empowered to be themselves. My ideal client is motivated, engaged, and open to self-reflection—but in truth, everyone is welcome in my practice. Whether you’re struggling with past trauma, navigating current challenges, or simply looking to grow, my goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work together toward your goals. More importantly, EVERYONE is welcome to my practice!

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is holistic, addressing both the psychiatric and psychosocial aspects of each person. I specialize in ADHD and neurodivergent conditions, marriage and family dynamics, immigration and cultural diversity, gender identity, trauma, PTSD, veterans and first responders, addictions, sex therapy, spirituality, and more. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including:

EMDR – to address severe trauma, PTSD, social anxiety, memory lapses, and related conditions.

Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) – for youth coping with post-traumatic stress and mood disorders from abuse, violence, or grief.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to treat depression, anxiety, OCD, and addictions.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to help identify, understand, and manage intense emotions.

Gottman Method – to strengthen relationships, resolve conflict, and deepen emotional and physical intimacy.

What you can expect from me

Clients seen in my practice can expect to leave our sessions with a sense of self-fulfillment, empowerment, and relief from their psychiatric symptoms. As my client, you will also feel understood, supported, and validated throughout our professional collaboration, where you will feel safe and comfortable being yourself.
