Great to meet you!

I have more than 25 years of experience providing therapy and over 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, and major life transitions.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe that healing begins when people have the opportunity to explore their experiences without judgment and develop new ways of responding to life's challenges.

I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based treatment that can be particularly helpful for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, distressing memories, and negative beliefs that continue to impact daily life. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe that every person has strengths that can support their healing and growth, even during difficult times.

In therapy, we work together to understand the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for managing stress and emotions. When appropriate, I incorporate EMDR therapy to help clients process painful experiences and reduce the emotional impact of past events.

My goal is not only to help clients feel better, but also to help them gain greater self-understanding, confidence, and resilience.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I'll spend time learning about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life.

Together, we'll discuss your goals and identify what you hope to gain from our work. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can begin understanding your challenges and creating a path toward meaningful change.
