Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 20 years of experience, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve worked with a diverse range of clients—women, men, couples, older adults, and youth—addressing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with people from a wide array of cultural, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and I tailor care to honor each client’s unique story and context.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey.

It’s important to me that we communicate openly, and that you feel respected in our relationship.

I’ll listen, challenge you when helpful, and support you along the way.

I prioritize empathy, collaboration, and adaptability, aligning with your goals, preferences, and cultural background.

Culturally sensitive care: I integrate awareness of diversity, identity, values, and systems that influence well-being into our work.

What you can expect from me

An introductory session where you share your story, goals, and what you hope to achieve in therapy.

A warm, welcoming environment that encourages openness while ensuring you feel safe and secure.

A collaborative plan for subsequent sessions to turn goals into manageable steps.
