Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive nursing and psychiatric experience across the lifespan. My background includes geriatric psychiatry, and I am currently focused on the mental health needs of children and adolescents. I have worked in emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospitalization programs, and outpatient settings.

I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health after beginning my nursing career (20 years ago) in direct patient care and advancing into nursing leadership. Outside of work, I enjoy history, the outdoors, and spending time with my family and pets.

My approach to therapy

My approach emphasizes compassionate, individualized care, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment. I strive to create a supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with listening, building trust, and treating each person with dignity and respect. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed, and compassionate care which helps individuals and families navigate challenges and work toward meaningful improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
