Great to meet you!

If you are carrying grief, a health challenge, or experiences that have been hard to name out loud, you deserve a space where you are genuinely met. I am a licensed psychologist in California with 10 years of experience spanning forensic settings, early childhood assessment, and private practice. What runs through all of that work is a commitment to helping people have more good days, not by handing them a formula, but by building on the strengths they already have. My particular focus is grief and health-related mental health, and I would be glad to connect for a free consultation.

My approach to therapy

I work from a compassion-focused, trauma-informed foundation that draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Emotion Focused Therapy. Sessions are collaborative and culturally sensitive: we move at your pace, start from your goals, and build from your existing strengths rather than from what feels broken. I am trained to work with people who carry heavy things quietly, and I take that seriously. You do not have to have it figured out before we start.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about connection before anything else. I will ask what brought you in and what you are hoping therapy can do for you, and I will listen without an agenda. There is no pressure to share more than feels right. By the end of that first hour, my goal is for you to leave with a clear sense of how we would work together and, more importantly, with the feeling that you have been heard
