Great to meet you!

I am adept at helping people with difficulties arising from childhood neglect and abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. I think I do this through my kind, gentle, and accepting nature. My method of helping them move forward is the progressive building of trust and attachment, as well as education and holistic methods such as diet and movement.

I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Aurora University. I am licensed to practice therapy in the state of Illinois. I also completed a certification in Trauma Studies from Grand Canyon University. I have been working as a social worker since 2013, and been practicing as a therapist since 2022. I specialize in assisting individuals with depression and Complex PTSD and guiding them towards happier, healthier mental health.

My approach to therapy

I help by assisting people in realizing their own strengths, which may have been buried and lost. I meet people where they are at and don’t try to change the basics of who they are. I meet each client as an individual and think “what does this person need from me?”

What you can expect from me

If you are stuck in sorrow and feel that this never can change, I am here to gently and gradually show you that it can. I will give you the tools in order to do that. Find the spark inside you no matter how small- it’s there, and reach out. It’s scary but it gets easier!
