Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with nine years of licensure and nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of concerns. I recognize the significant impact mental health has on overall well-being and believe it deserves the same attention as any other area of health, even though it can often be the most difficult to seek help for. Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I acknowledge the courage it takes to take this step. My current clinical focus is working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, stress, life transitions, and related concerns.

My approach to therapy

Recognizing that each person brings unique life experiences, I take a compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to therapy. Drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strength-based techniques, I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel empowered to explore challenges, build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you will have the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, your experiences, and what you hope to achieve. I understand that sharing personal experiences can feel overwhelming, especially in the beginning, so you're encouraged to share only what feels comfortable. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you while working together to identify and achieve your goals.
