Great to meet you!

Mary works with teens and adults (ages 12–55) navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, ADHD, Autism, and the lasting impact of growing up in a dysfunctional family. She also provides affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals. She's gone beyond the standard requirements for licensure to get advanced, specialized training—especially in understanding autism, neurodiversity, and trauma. Mary brings a warm, authentic presence to therapy—often accompanied by her beloved therapy dog, Remmi. Together, they help clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

Why Therapy with Mary? Imagine a cozy space where you can be yourself, spill it all without judgment, and work on becoming the best version of yourself. She's likely to wear jeans to the office and you can use all the bad words while you’re there. Her approach to therapy is warm and welcoming, while still being professional, research-based, and solution-focused. I know when to lean into evidence-based strategies—and when to put the clinical jargon aside and just be a real human connecting with another. Therapy with her is equal parts heart and science.

What you can expect from me

1. Why am I feeling such an overwhelming amount of stress and anxiety? It could be a major life transition, but often anxiety is deeply rooted in trauma, childhood, or biology.

2. How can I get some relief and finally start feeling better? Getting over anxiety is action-oriented so we will provide skills and encourage you to get outside of your comfort zone. Our ideal client is ready and motivated to learn about managing stress, embracing the moment, and wagging off worries.
