Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor and EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist, I offer my skills to help others solve problems that hold them back in life. Working collaboratively, my role is to empower clients to find deep joy and lasting stability no matter what circumstances they have experienced.

My approach to therapy

I’ve been in practice for 16 years and worked with people of all ages toward a wide variety of objectives. These include recovering from addiction, resolving past trauma, overcoming crippling anxiety and depression, and adjusting to difficult changes in life. You’ve taken the first step by seeking help to face challenges and make changes. That takes courage and faith. Now, let’s find out how I can best help you in that process.

What you can expect from me

First we will zero in on the problems you want to focus and the steps you will take to solve them. We’ll go back to understand how you got where you are. Everything has causes and conditions. But the place of power is in the present. I'll give you tasks to help you form new habits of thought and action. I also spend lots of time just listening. Being able to share thoughts and feelings without judgement, you can discover things about yourself and options you hadn't previously considered.
