Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Mary, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over seven years of experience walking alongside people as they navigate life's challenges. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the changes that come with aging. I also like working with tweens and teens trying to navigate all their feelings and changes. I'm proud to be an LGBTQ-affirming therapist who creates a space where clients of all identities feel truly seen and accepted. I also have significant experience supporting clients through substance use and recovery. Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and grounded in genuine connection. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method, so I take the time to understand your unique story, strengths, and goals, and I tailor our work together accordingly. Whether you're moving through a major life change, working to manage anxiety or depression, adjusting to the realities of aging, or seeking support in recovery, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you build the tools and insight you need to move forward. I bring both clinical expertise and a deep sense of empathy to every session, because I know that real change happens within a relationship built on trust.

What you can expect from me

When you come in for your first session, you can expect a warm, relaxed conversation rather than a clinical interrogation. We'll spend time getting to know each other, and I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. This is also your chance to ask me questions and get a feel for whether we're a good fit, because finding the right therapist is such an important part of the process. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with right away. My hope is that you leave that first session feeling heard, and with a clearer sense of what our path forward might look like.
