Great to meet you!

Do you find yourself searching for meaning or direction in life? I view therapy as a way to get in touch with your inner voice, your intuition, which can guide you to answers. I believe in a person's inherent healing potential. I am inspired daily through my work with people as they journey toward improving their lives. I believe in a person's inherent healing potential. My goal is to create a safe space where your story will be heard with the utmost compassion. I'm your committed listener, both for where you've been and where you'd like to go. Through years of experience in various mental health treatment environments, I have developed great respect for what it takes to begin—and continue—seeking a path of wellness.

My approach to therapy

I take a humanistic, client-centered approach to therapy with individuals. When someone shares their concerns and reasons for seeking support, I listen and collaborate to develop goals that resonate with them and align with their values. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to address negative, outdated beliefs about oneself, others, and the world that may be creating barriers to progress and growth. I also employ trauma-sensitive techniques, including EMDR, to help facilitate insights and breakthroughs. Additionally, I have expertise in art therapy and regularly use analogy and metaphor to spark new perspectives. Lastly, I have extensive experience in addiction treatment and have been actively involved in recovery communities throughout my career.

What you can expect from me

From our very first meeting, we will work together to identify small shifts you can begin making to feel more empowered in your life. With each encounter, I hope you leave feeling understood, accepted, and encouraged.
