Great to meet you!

Parenting a child with special needs—especially a neurodivergent child—can be both rewarding and challenging. I’m here to support parents and caregivers with warmth, understanding, and practical tools so you can feel more confident and supported in your role.

I currently provide individual therapy to children in a school setting and have spent years working in foster care, adoption, and residential treatment. As a former foster parent and respite provider, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the unique experiences families navigate while caring for children with special needs. I also started a support group in my community to support caregivers, inspired by both my professional experience and my own parenting journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert on your own life and your family’s needs. I focus on building a trusting relationship and creating a warm, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore what would be most helpful, whether that includes emotional support, resources, or opportunities to build new skills.

What you can expect from me

I’ll take the time to get to know you as a whole person and understand what you would like from therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are and tailor our work to provide the support, resources, and guidance that will help you and your family move forward.
