Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in despair, or wondering how things got so heavy, you’re not alone. Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps—but it can also be the beginning of real change. I’m here to walk that path with you.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor serving clients across New York through telehealth. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, depression, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling hopeless or discouraged, unsure if things can truly get better. Together, we focus on rebuilding hope, strengthening resilience, and creating practical steps toward the life you want.

My approach is caring, direct, and encouraging. I believe in meeting you with compassion while also gently challenging you to grow. Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest about your struggles without judgment—and also be reminded of your strengths. Your challenges do not define you. They are part of your story, but they are not the whole story.

I entered the mental health field because I genuinely wanted to make a difference. I want people to know they are not alone and that mental health challenges don’t have to prevent them from succeeding, growing, or reaching their goals. Change is possible. Healing is possible. And you are capable of more than you may feel right now.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with God, being with my family, and crafting—activities that keep me grounded and connected. I bring that same sense of presence and authenticity into the therapy space.

If you’re ready to regain your hope, strength, and resilience, I would be honored to support you. Let’s take the next step together

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is caring, direct, and encouraging. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel both supported and gently challenged. When we work together, you can expect compassion and understanding—but also honesty and guidance that helps you move forward.

I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly share what you’re carrying, whether that’s anxiety, depression, substance use struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed and stuck. I take the time to truly listen and understand your story. At the same time, I won’t just sit back—I’ll help you identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

I see therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your strengths and rediscover hope. I believe your struggles do not define you, and together we work on building resilience, confidence, and a clearer path toward your goals.

My goal is not just symptom relief—it’s helping you regain your sense of strength, purpose, and belief in yourself.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel nerve-wracking, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. In our first session, my main goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood.

We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you’ve been experiencing—whether that’s feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety or depression, or facing challenges related to substance use. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. You can move at a pace that feels right for you.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps me get a full picture of your needs so we can create a plan that feels meaningful and realistic. You’ll also have time to ask me questions about the process and share any concerns you may have.

The first session is really about building connection and clarity. It’s the beginning of a partnership. By the end of our time together, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction, some initial tools or insights, and—most importantly—the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate this alone.

My goal from day one is to create a space where you feel supported, encouraged, and hopeful about what’s possible moving forward.
