Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. Before we focus on strategies or skills, I want to understand who you are, what you've been carrying, and what matters most to you. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment.

My approach is shaped by more than two decades of experience as a psychologist and the understanding that life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Some of the most meaningful lessons I've learned came not from a textbook, but from navigating life's unexpected turns.

I am especially passionate about helping people navigate life's major transitions—whether that's grieving the loss of someone you love, adjusting to a health diagnosis, navigating changes in relationships or career, entering retirement, or simply finding yourself in a chapter of life you never expected. I consider it a privilege to help people move through life's challenges with greater openness, resilience, and a deeper connection to what matters most.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is most effective when we recognize that mental health does not exit in isolation. Our thoughts, emotions, physical health, relationships, and daily habits all influence one another. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices, we'll work collaboratively to build psychological flexibility and create meaningful, sustainable changes that support your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply a conversation. It’s a chance for me to learn about you—what has brought you to therapy, what you’re experiencing, and what you hope will be different. It’s also an opportunity for you to get to know me and decide whether I feel like the right fit. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll begin identifying your goals, answer any questions you have, and work together to create a plan that feels supportive, collaborative, and focused on what matters most to you.

My hope is that you’ll leave our first meeting feeling heard, understood, and with the confidence that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
