Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Meyer! I’m a queer and trans-identified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist based in Brooklyn, New York. I work with adults and adolescents who are navigating LGBTQIA+ identities, survivors of trauma, and individuals with concerns related to depression, anxiety, self-worth, grief and bereavement, and relationships and intimacy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My mission as a therapist is to create an environment where your whole self is affirmed, accepted, and cared for. Wherever you are—transitioning into a new identity, navigating challenges in a relationship, coping with trauma, or grappling with anxiety—I’m ready to meet you there.

My approach integrates techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems, and mindfulness. I have advanced training in treating PTSD with cognitive processing therapy (CPT).

What you can expect from our first session

Together, our work will be relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. We'll gain insight into the roots of your challenges while finding a way forward in the present.
