Great to meet you!

My counseling style is warm, empathetic, integrative, pragmatic, direct/honest, and client-centered. I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which you and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions, and, may even humorous insights to help you practice new ways to thrive. I have experience counseling adult individuals on family/relationship issues, and matters coping with grief, trauma, addiction, existential concerns, sexuality, and recovery.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and client-centered counseling. My work draws its influence from the counseling theories and styles of Carl Rogers, Carl Jung, and Murray Bowen. My goal is to overcome stigmatic labels and empower the client on a path to wellness.

What you can expect from me

I listen without judgment and focus on your strengths. It takes courage to seek help and your courage has already been evident within yourself in challenging what society thinks is the norm. I am empathic that can help you overcome challenges through mindfulness. Many reasons (e.g., mood swings, trauma, gender/sexuality, social media issues) can bring a person to counseling. We can facilitate your growth by bringing out your true self and you will finally be in the driver's seat of your life.
