Great to meet you!

I'm Mary. I have been working in the field of Mental Health for 13 years. I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 and I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2012. The majority of my work has been with teenagers working in residential treatment settings. This population is very near and dear to my heart and always say they have taught me hopefully as much as I have taught them along the way. I have worked with clients ages as young as 3 and really believe in family work, especially if I am working with your youth. I approach therapy with a warm and open minded approach and very much value each and everyone of my clients for exactly who they are and whatever chapter of life they are in. I hope to encourage my clients to be empowered in their lives and provide truth and hope to everyone I work with.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a warm, direct approach. Using cognitive behavioral therapy as the backbone to understanding how emotions influence the human experience, I hope to build connections and understanding through the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

When working with my clients, I hope that in every session we can process and understand the feelings we are experiencing and know where they stem from. I also hope that every session we are able to truly honor those feelings and give meaning to each experience in my clients life.
