Great to meet you!

Hi, Im a licensed therapist in the states of Georgia, New Jersey, and New York. I have been working with individuals experiencing a variety of issues since 2014 while completing my masters at Columbia. While I spent many years working in person prior to the pandemic, I shifted during that time, to start my own private practice and focus on one on one therapy. While having a background in addiction, depression and anxiety, I have also gained extensive knowledge in supporting those during a significant life transition, difficulty with interpersonal relationships, grief and loss, and attachment issues deriving from childhood.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of therapeutic interventions that are person-centered and solution-focused, while using CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), mindfulness, and somatic techniques. During session, I hope you discover new perspectives, ways of coping and learn what emotions are and hot to best process and regulate them.

What you can expect from me

It may feel really difficult to start this process, especially making the difficult decision about who to trust and open up to. Being vulnerable is often peoples' biggest fear. Talking about feelings is so rare in our socieety that most feel its a weakness to have feelings. The opposite is true however. Our emotions are a necessity, and a form of survival.
