Great to meet you!

I identify as a woman of color and first generation child of immigrants. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health in immigrant and BIPOC communities and emphasizing the importance of mental health.

I have experience working with clients with chronic illnesses including cancer and challenges adjusting to lifestyle, relationships and decision making. I am board certified as an oncology social worker (OSW-C). I also specialize in bereavement and grief, depression, stress, and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

It is important for me to create a safe space for my clients to be vulnerable. I like to use humor when appropriate and encourage you to be open and honest with me. I will support you and guide you to your goals and follow your lead along the way.

I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from Columbia University and completed additional training in advanced cognitive behavioral therapy at NYU and mindfulness-based stress reduction program at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

What you can expect from our first session

I encourage you to be yourself and feel comfortable.
