Mary Weston

Greetings, my name is Mary Dawn Weston, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have an MSW from the University of Southern California with a sub concentration in anxiety, PTSD, and codependency. In addition, I obtained a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Sociology. My professional background includes 5 years as the director of the Pre-Release program for the Alabama Department of Corrections, 3 years as a child abuse/neglect investigator as well as 4 years in private practice as a therapist.

I am absolutely passionate about the mental health field and working with clients to enhance wellbeing and promote a better life experience. We will work together pursuing resolution to your identified concerns. My pledge is to always start where you are with confidence, clarity, and compassion. With 12 years' experience in the field and an understanding of the neurobiological components that impact behavior, I would be honored to walk with you on this journey.

Clients can expect a warm and welcoming first session experience in a safe and nonjudgemental environment. The pace and direction of the session will be determined by the client and their comfort level and needs at the time. My goal is to listen, empower, connect, and provide the client the opportunity to determine if they feel we are a good fit.
