Mary Ziadeh

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and have been working in the field since 2007. I specialize in working with individuals who are motivated to engage in therapy to reach their desired goals. It's important to me that I meet you where you are on your journey, & that you experience our work together as a collaboration. I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, to help them understand how their nervous system was affected & how to regulate it.

I have an eclectic approach to therapy grounded in Person-Centered theory. I believe you are the expert on you, & part of my job is to create a safe space for you to uncover what's important to you & what needs your attention. I am also certified in Brainspotting, which is a brain-based trauma therapy. I specialize in supporting individuals work through trauma, or who may be struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety, among other challenges.

I believe in Carl Roger's foundational principle that we all have what we need to heal within us. If we're provided with a safe space to explore our internal experience, it can help us to increase our self-awareness which in turn can be empowering. Clients with whom I work have experienced improvement in their symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, as well as increased self-worth & clarity about who they are & what's important to them.
